These terms describe the rules and responsibilities that apply when using AZIMART as a buyer, seller or visitor.
Last updated: September 24, 2026
By accessing or using AZIMART, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked from them. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
AZIMART provides a marketplace where buyers and sellers can discover products, place orders, make marketplace payments, and use available fulfillment and support workflows. Specific features may depend on the account, order and platform configuration.
You are responsible for providing accurate information required for the features you use and for keeping your account information reasonably current.
Keep your login credentials secure. Do not share passwords, M-Pesa PINs, one-time passwords or other authentication credentials with another person.
Seller activation requires the information, terms acceptance and consents presented in the seller setup flow.
Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including product descriptions, categories, units, prices, media and inventory information.
AZIMART currently supports M-Pesa for marketplace payments. Payment instructions and the transaction amount shown during checkout are the source of truth for the transaction.
Users must follow the applicable M-Pesa payment flow and keep their payment reference or other transaction information where available.
Do not disclose your M-Pesa PIN, OTP or other security credentials to AZIMART staff, sellers or buyers.
Seller fees and other applicable charges are described on the Fees page and the information shown during the relevant transaction.
AZIMART supports home delivery and pickup where those options are available for the order.
Available fulfillment options and charges can depend on configured delivery zones, distance, order load and the seller/shop location. Checkout is the source of truth for the options and charge available for a specific order.
AZIMART does not promise one universal delivery time or coverage area for every product and order.
Orders may use fulfillment statuses, delivery assignments and, where applicable, QR-based handover processes.
AZIMART provides a dispute workflow for eligible order and payment issues. The current workflow recognizes issues such as non-receipt, damage, product not as described, payment issues, refund issues, duplicate charges and unauthorized charges.
When a delivery or pickup handover time is recorded, the implemented dispute workflow applies a 12-hour issue-reporting window after handover. This is not a blanket return or refund guarantee.
Disputes may require descriptions and evidence and can result in different outcomes, including refund, replacement, seller contact, evidence requests, mutual agreement, dismissal or escalation.
Where escrow is enabled for an eligible order, a dispute can affect the order's escrow and payout state while the case is handled.
See Returns & Order Issues for the operational dispute details.
AZIMART provides marketplace software and operational workflows. Product descriptions, availability and other seller-provided information remain the seller's responsibility.
Payment and fulfillment operations can involve external services or providers. Their availability and terms may affect the transaction or fulfillment experience.
Marketplace features can change as the platform is developed and configured.
AZIMART's platform software, branding, original documentation and other protected materials may not be copied, redistributed or used in a way that infringes applicable intellectual-property rights, except where permitted by law or with appropriate permission.
Use of AZIMART also involves the collection and processing of information necessary to operate accounts, listings, orders, payments, fulfillment, support and other platform functions.
See the Privacy Policy for the applicable data practices.
AZIMART may modify, suspend or discontinue features as the service evolves, subject to applicable requirements.
These Terms may be updated when the platform, policies or applicable requirements change. The date shown at the top identifies the current published version.
These Terms are intended to operate under the applicable laws of Kenya.
Where a dispute cannot be resolved through the applicable AZIMART support or dispute process, the parties may use the remedies and forums available under applicable Kenyan law.
For questions about these Terms, use the current AZIMART support channels.
